Then the amazing thing was that I know one of the people who shared their story....I know her. She told me that one of the stories I heard was hers. It made me start to cry and she said to me.."Oh honey..the story had a happy ending remember!!" I cried because she has such enthusiasm and love for serving and we serve together. What would her life be like if we were not here. I definitely took a leap of faith on my commitment because I want to meet and serve with other people who have been transformed because of Eagle Brook Church!!! Its easy to see initiatives like EBC is undertaking as about bricks and mortar...and it was refreshing to be reminded that this is all about the people we reach for Christ.
