Not Without You
We can't do it alone.
Extend help Globally and Locally
Do good. Be generous. Share. That’s what Paul instructed the Church in 1 Timothy 6:18. God is accomplishing more than we could ever dream of as we take those commands seriously. By forging partnerships with strategic Christian organizations, Eagle Brook is committ ed to serve the poor and under resourced, train up Christian leaders to spread the gospel, and make the love of Christ relevant to people at the point of their need. Through Not Without You, significant funds and hands-on help will infuse targeted global and local initiatives.
Mozambique
Three years ago, Eagle Brookers were moved with compassion to bring hope to an entire village ravaged by AIDS and poverty. Together, we poured $2 million over three years into the country of Mozambique through World Vision. Health needs are being met for children and mothers. Orphans and vulnerable children impacted by AIDS are being cared for. Clean water, education, agriculture for income, and Christian training are all changing the face of this entire community. Our continued support takes the form of direct financial support for specific initiatives through campaign funds, and personal child sponsorships by EBC families/individuals.
Norway
The Christian church has been dying in Norway. Only 2% of people go to church. But there is a light that is coming from Christi an leaders devoted to setting up hubs of hope—prevailing churches to transform their communities. Through the Willow Creek Association, Eagle Brook helps bring world-class training to church leaders in Norway through the annual Leadership Summit. Plus, new doors have opened for EBC to work directly with a few churches who not only want to reach their country, but are ready to make it happen!
Local
With high participaton from Eagle Brookers, in the metro area we have stocked food shelves, donated furniture, filled backpacks for inner city kids, developed a thriving recovery ministry, and volunteered hundreds of hours to help others. The church is committed to do more in our communities in the upcoming years than ever before. One example is working this February with Feed My Starving Children, which will have both global and local impact.
